Fruit, Madame?

Sorry we haven't written in awhile, internet is expensive in the islands and we've been busy! Sihanoukville was our next stop after Phnom Pehn, about 4 hours south. We finally arrived at the beach! The water was super warm and the beach is filled with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Each restaurant serves you straight to your chair so you never have to get up. The first night we had Khmer BBQ on the beach and watched the local boys do fire dancing. The only downside to the Cambodian beach is the children trying to sell you bracelets, fruit and pedicures every two seconds. You keep hearing "fruit madame? pedicure madame? your feet need it!"

Sihanoukville is a small little town with one main street for all the backpackers. We mostly just slept in, had breakfast, headed to the beach for the day, ate BBQ seafood and do it all over again. We did treat ourselves to a mini spa day with pedicures and a facial. One night we watched American movies at Cool Banana, a cute little backpacker's guesthouse. Now we're headed back to Bangkok for a night before hitting up Thailand's southern islands.
